:hmm: Depende sa concept ng bubuoin ko. Yung dati naming tugtugan metalcore. Tas recently naisip kong gawing classical/deathmetal.

Keep it up!

Di ko pa na-checheck1 naka opera mini me eh. Mamaya mag-nenet ako sa pc. But i'm sure, it would be great!

I think you will like it!

Na-check ko na yung composition mo. It's good:thumbsup: I haven't warmed up to it yet, but in repeat listening maybe I will. Dinownload ko using FlashGot at Downthemall! Sorry, he, he. I'll post my comments after dissecting it!

Say hello to your band, wish you all luck.

Hehe..

Don't worry, it is only for my private enjoyment  Pansin ko rin nga, di siya ganon ka-polished pa, but it's ok. Hindi ko ini-stream eh, ni-right click ko lang yung media, then download flash media sa flashgot, tapos convert ko sa mp3. Oh well.. Gud luck sa band!

Edit: Si Franz Schubert, he is not primarily a piano composer. He composed songs, symphonies, chamber music, piano pieces and sonatas, operas, and he is my no. 1 favorite composer. He composed 'Ave Maria', yung kinakanta sa weddings.

Dahil mahilig ka sa piano music, I suggest you listen to his Impromptus, 8 in total, they are very beautiful, sublime music pieces. You can explore him, he is just great. Unfortunately, he died at the age of 31 in 1828.

Good luck.

Back to topic: Ah kumbaga maestro si schubert? (tama ba ang term). Aga pala niyang namatay :rip:.. Hilig ko talaga tunog ng piano, the sound it gives turns everything into sepia. Haha lalim..

Yung tipong it takes me to the ''scene''.

But, I will keep it on my playlist.

I love the piano too! Pianist ka rin ba o can you play it? At yung piano music, incredible!

He died with  Syphilis and he was penniless, kulang nga yung pera na pampalibing sa kanya. Schubert is an example of a failed artist, devoted to his music, poor and he only garnered recognition, years after he died at the young age of 31. Heck, even Mozart died at 35, but at least, he died famous.

Today, Schubert is considered as one of the greatest and most brilliant composers. He is arguably the greatest songwriter who ever lived , and one of the greatest melodists on Western music. Btw, he is an Austrian. Check wiki;-)

Sorry ;-( passionate talaga ako regarding my idol eh.

Ditto. I agree, Schubert was a frustrated artist. He was always on the shadow of Beethoven. I remember reading that he said that ''How could anyone write after Beethoven''. He was not a talented performer and he shunned publicity. He was extremely devoted to his friends, composing for them. Hay, kung pwede ibigay ko sa kanya ang 4 years ng 19 years ko sa earth, I will. Kung nabuhay lang si Schubert, maybe for another 4 years, he would be greater than Beethoven. He accomplished more in his 31 years, than what Beethoven did in that age.

Eh, mahilig ka sa piano. Do you like other instruments? How about the violin?
I really enjoy yung Four Seasons concerto for violin ni Antonio Vivaldi, especially yung Spring! Ang ganda pakinggan. Do you have any experience with violin?

I like Jovit's voice. Pero, unless he composed something original, I don't consider him as a 'serious' musician. Not unlike you, btw.:-)

Nyay grabe naman. Hehe.

Actually mga concertos nila yung dinownload ko dati, which is present yung other instruments.

Beethoven is good, not my taste, but hearing him once a month is not bad. Mozart..hmm.. His music is charming but I find him overrated!

If you like piano concerto, how about  Tchaikovsky' Piano concerto at Edvard Grieg's Piano concerto in A minor. These two pieces are among the most popular piano concerti. At tsaka they have great melody and sequencing, perfect for metal genre.

To quote Brahms ''My love with Schubert is not a passing fancy''. His music lives in my heart.

I hope that after you fulfill your piano desires, you start to explore the other aspects of classical music. Classical music is vast. There are symphonies, operas, chamber music, concertos, lieder etc. If you started exploring, you will discover delightful gems on every genre. But, focus ka muna sa piano at metal. Classical can be overwhelming!

@yagami
You are very much welcome here! Buti ka pa you can play the keyboard, I envy you!

Sana mas marami pang magpost sa thread na to.

Namput! Nosebled. Haha.
That is why piano concerto hinahanap ko, para kahit pano medyo madaling isipan ng riff. Pag ibang instruments kasi medyo tagilid ako, mahirap gawan ng metal riff..

Sabihin nating metal version, medyo magulo siya iexplain eh. Imagine mo na lang na tinugtog ang isang piece in a metal way. Hehe ;D

Most of my relatives are musicians and singers. Ako lang medyo naiba kasi yung tinutogtog ko is metal. ;D

wow..it runs in the family pala! Then, when I was maybe, 9, naging member ako ng choir sa simbahan namin, pinilit ng nanay. Di rin ako tumagal, kasi may pagkasintunado!

I discovered classical when I was 15, after hearing Beethoven's Symphony no. 9. I was hooked. Tapos I discovered Schubert when I heard his song, Erlkönig. I became fascinated with his tragic life.

Kayo ng mpa kabanda, do you share your own passions/tastes in music?
