Check mo yung tut ko sa pag-downgrade ng 3GS 5.0.1 to 4.1 below, tapos kung need mo upgrade to 4.3.3 from 4.1 check the second link. make sure to save your SHSH blobs before updating to 4.3.3, na sa tut na rin yung kung paano.

Stay away from 5.0.1, wag kang mag upgrade sa version na yan if you want to enjoy the perks of having a jailbroken iPhone. Firmware 4.3.3 ang pina ka last na untethered jailbreak, kasi current jailbreaks for 5.0.1 is tethered at maraming problema. ;)

Question lang boss, pano palitan yung device name ng iphone 3gs? Tsaka bakit di nya madetect yung bluetooth ng nokia n73 ko boss?

Sir, unfortunately you can't change the device name within the phone itself, naka-rely siya sa name ng device mo sa itunes kaya dun mo siya palitan. iDevices (iPhone/iTouch/iPad) does not support bluetooth file transfer of any file type due to the following reasons. Some files are unsupported, like music and video, they need to be sync through itunes and file format is differnet from all other devices. Due to DRM and DMCA, having an iDevice allows you to purchase any content from iTunes and App Store and copying them to another device is piracy. How about pictures? you can send and receive them via email or social networking apps. You can only use bluetooth on headset, bluetooth speakers, medical devices, and remote control toys.

You may be asking, ano pa silbe ng bluetooth ng iphone? iPhone was initially intended for the US market and Apple is the first company na naging successful sa pag integrate ng online app store sa mga device nila. To protect app developers and artist selling their content via itunes and app store, kailangan i-disable ang file transfer ng idevice to other idevices and other Mobile devices to computers para maiwasan ang piracy at paglabag sa karapatan ng mga devs at artist.

Additional info, sa US at EU, you can't buy a smartphone (iOS/Android/WP7/Sym) without getting a contract with data plan. You can only buy smartphone without contract, openline, unlocked, if the carrier offers it, but for a higher price. Having a data plan means you have to pay for the internet connection ng device mo, kahit anong klaseng connection pa yan, kahit free wifi or sarili mong router sa bahay, babayaran mo yan dahil may sariling app ang mga providers that monitors your data transfer. So if you are in this kind of situation, na mura at mabilis ang internet connection ng smartphone mo at no choice ka but to get one dahil mahal ang openline, why use bluetooth? To send pictures? Why not email it? Mas mabilis pa, or upload sa cloud service, like dropbox.

Please check this thread for an app that lets you do file transfer

Sir, set ka na lang ng bagong iphone profile tapos dun sa 3GS downgrade tut ko, follow mo yung jailbreak instructions, pero uncheck mo yung cydia, then check mo yung install ipad baseband para ma upgrade yung baseband niya to 6.15 which is unlockable. Then follow mo lang yung unlocking steps.

I hope that helps... ;D Don't forget to hit "Thank You" kung nakatulong. ;)

Sir, kung ano po yung pangalan ng iphone nyo yun din po yung bluetooth name niya, pwede mo lang siyang palitan sa itunes.

Ex. iPhone /Profile/Device/Name: Micollo's iPhone
     Bluetooth Device Name: Micollo's iPhone

1. Connect mo yung device mo sa pc or mac na may itunes.

2. Open mo itunes, tapos sa left column makikita mo na under devices yung name ng iphone mo.

3. Highlight mo iPhone mo tapos pindutin mo F2 sa keyboard, tapos rename mo.

I hope that helps... ;D

;D ;D Ganun po talaga sir ang paraan para ma change yung device name, pero if you want to take a risk, I don't recommend this method, pero check mo lang yung link sa baba. ;)

I am not in any way responsible to whatever happens to your device while performing the steps below, or liable to any data loss. Changing or removing something from a plist file might cause undesirable results or otherwise. It is a risk you have to take! ;D

1. Download iFile from Cydia, kung meron ka na open and navigate to the directory below.

2. Navigate to //system/library/corsevices/springboard.app/

3. Look for N72AP.plist and open it with text viewer. Tap edit to change or add something on the plist and save it after doing so.

4. Refer to the link below for the video tut.
